Youth Sunday School Class

Sunday school is a great time of fellowship and learning for all ages.  The Jr. High class is putting their daily lives into perspective, the High Schoolers are exploring their faith and call in the world, and our new Young Adult Sunday School class called "The Book Club" have completed their first book "Being Presbyterian in the Bible Belt"  and are are now decifering just "What's so amazing about Grace?"  Come and join us on Sunday mornings!

Youth Events

What visible group of youth we have at First Presbyterian, Durant!  On Wednesday nights, the Junior Highers meet with Ashley Kirven and Becky Robertson, two members of the Senior High Youth Group.  Sr. High meets for food and fellowship every Sunday evening.  This year, we participated in "A Fast that Lasts" to raise our hunger awareness and are planning a mission trip for Summer '06.  Another treat that summer brings for our youth is a week (or two) stay at Dwight Mission.  Year around, it's a great place to be.
