Men's Ministry

Adult Men’s Class

The Adult Men’s Class, sometimes better known as the “Not the Grumpy Old Men’s Class,” has been in existence for over 75 years. The class has a membership of about 15, ranging in age of 55 on up, but would like to attract a younger audience. The men kick off with a favorite gospel hymn, follow with a discussion of a current event and end with a “laid-back” interactive Bible lesson.  All are welcome to attend the class and casual dress is appropriate.

Men’s Fellowship

The First Presbyterian Men's Fellowship group meets the last Wednesday of each month from August to April.  Each Fellowship meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:45 pm with dinner and is held in the Fellowship Hall.  After dinner activities include a business report from the secretary and treasurer, discussions related to projects and activates, and a special guest speaker.  Guest speaker topics range from faith testimonies, to community wide updates to mission opportunities.  For the past several years, the Men's Fellowship group has raised money, at their monthly meetings and through special events, to benefit the Goodland Children's Home.

The First Presbyterian Men's Fellowship monthly fellowship dinner is a great way to network, catch up with current community news, share your personal testimony, raise money for a great cause and eat some REALLY tasty home cooked meals.  If you would like to know more about the Men's Fellowship program, please contact the FPC main office number at 924-0433.
